Warehouse Worker / Driver Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm $21 per hour Temp to perm Position Overview This is a temp to perm role starting at $21 per hour but when you go perm will go to $22 with benefits, vacation time and a sign on bonus! This is a dual position working as a warehouse worker and driver. This individual will assist in the warehouse and be responsible for picking customer orders for pickup throughout the day. Driver duties include deliveries of company products to customers. Operating a company vehicle, box truck. Responsibilities: Drive (under DOT regulations) orders to customers at various locations across New England. Maintain and comply with company vehicle maintenance policy and procedures Driver will have familiarity with basic tools and maintain ability to transport both equipment and tools to customer sites Responsible for both electronic and written customer and company information Shall follow all safety and environmental rules, requirements and procedures as established in the facility Responsible for picking orders and loading delivery vehicles (vans, box trucks) Pick customer orders for pickup at warehouse Repackage materials for shipment Ensure all products are properly labeled and stored in the correct area. Responsible for verifying quantities and product description of incoming and outgoing goods against packing slips and purchase orders Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures Familiarity with basic tools and machinery (i.e. pallet jack) Ensure that sales orders are shipped in a timely manner via UPS, FedEx Regular and reliable attendance; punctuality is essential Requirements: Must have good verbal and written communication skills Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, and lift 70 pounds Note that this position requires you to stand for most of the day A clean work and driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen CDL license preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license DOT Medical Card required May require occasional overtime and early/late hours to complete a job.
