Demand Planner

Andover, MA

This client is in need of a Demand Planning Professional with experience as follows : RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Plan/Procure Finished Goods in support of our demand forecast and inventory goals • Resolve daily service/delivery issues with customer service and DC’s, including late shipment analysis • Review expedites and recommend Air Freight • Monitor inventory performance to ensure objectives are met • Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP and APS systems • Assist in improving planning processes and systems • Improve the customer experience through proactive decision making and communication • Routinely interact with internal and external customers EDUCATION: • 4-year degree; specialization in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics, or Finance preferred MANAGEMENT: None QUALIFICATIONS • 1-3 years’ experience with supply chain planning and relevant software applications. • APICS or other related certification is preferred • Problem Solving/Analysis • Decision Making • Strategic Thinking • Business Acumen
