Great perm opportunity! Solid benefits - up to 19 per hour Obtain insurance authorizations from payors, including additional authorizations as needed and monitor authorization report. This includes sending reminders to clinicians when additional visits are needed and prior authorizations are needed.• Entering new client basic demographic information as well as entering insurance and authorizations. Submit claims to the payors, electronically or paper form, and verify receipt and acceptance by payors.• Reconcile and resolve issues related to claims submission.• Post insurance, checks and EOBs and reconcile posted totals as well as resolve denial issues. Help with resolving overdue claim problems.• Recommend patient balance write-off's and to write-off approved balances.• Engage all clients by understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of the specialty.• Attend & participate in engagement team meetings, follow up with client service plans and communicate effectively with clients and staff in other specialty areas.• Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and/or funder requirements, as well as policies & procedures. Knowledge pertaining to Diagnosis Codes and CPT/ICD codes for Behavioral Health • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing• Mental Health third party billing experience $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
