Great role with base and commission! Perm full-time $55,000 - $60,000 a year - Full-time, Commission The outside truck salesperson is responsible for determining, generating and capturing the sales outside the organization. Takes orders of existing customers and securing prospective clients/customers by visits as well as regular communication. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain existing customer relationships on a continual basis. Identify target accounts and aggressively pursue them Develop new customer relationships on a continual basis. Perform sales presentations to customers. Continuously updating of all customers on company product modifications, changes and enhancements. Maximize customer purchases as one-stop shopping Direct work to service work to shop based on skill level and availability. Coordinate work with service writers, foremen and service managers. Be liaison between customer and company. Be able to represent all lines of trucks. Continually update and maintain accounts with customer names and telephone numbers for future sales. Provide customer quotes as needed. Base pay and commission position Use of personal vehicle, reimbursable by company QUALIFICATIONS: Prior direct selling experience and performance track record in sales required. Truck industry experience and good to excellent PC skills required. General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. Clean driving record. Professional personal appearance. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively. WORKING CONDITIONS: The outside truck salesperson drives his/her personal vehicle to call on customers at their locations. He/She will also work with company personnel in parts and service.
