Senior Prototype Electrical Engineer

Position can work out of Bedford Ma. or New London Ct. Facility Great perm role with excellent pay and opportunity! DOD experience is a must! This cutting edge DOD prototype manufacturer is in need of a seasoned Electronics Engineer to work on under water submersible and maritime systems. The proper candidate must have a proven track record of designing and implementing custom PCBs for prototype R&D systems. Additionally, experience designing mixed signal PCBs with ADCs & DACs, microcontrollers, DC/DC converters, digital communications protocols (RS232/RS422, I2C, I2S, SPI, McBSP), high speed signaling, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, and interfacing to embedded microprocessors is required. Previous experience laying out boards and/or managing vendors which provide layout services is highly desired, as is experience designing for EMC and testing and integrating PCBs into larger systems. Position Requires: 5 plus years experience designing Custom PCB’s from Concepcion to implementation. Experience with common digital communication schemes ( RS232/RS422, 12C, 12S, SPI, McBSP. Previous experience designing with analog sensors, ADCs, and embedded processors. Proven experience designing with DACs, active and passive filters, as well as line drivers. Experience working with acoustic transducers/ low noise electronic design. A minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering and or Computer Engineering ( with hardware focus) . Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance a must. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
