Help Desk Support Technician

Wilmington, MA

The Help Desk Support Technician will represent the BT Department’s first line of support and customer service for employee inquiries on software and computer-related questions. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Front line helpdesk support for local and remote staff • Identify, research and resolve technical issues for users in a positive manner • Add to the helpdesk knowledge base with clear/concise/detailed entries • Treat every issue as an opportunity to educate the end-user • Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and software licenses • Create and/or maintain end-user documentation on procedures and how-tos • Creation and administration of Active Directory user accounts • Provision new computers for employees • Help in maintaining scanners, copiers and workstations • Provision phones and voicemail boxes (mobile and office) • Assist in the continuity of telecommunication systems • Support the System Administrator with duties as necessary to include server, user and network administration • Collaborate with IT support and administration representatives • Minor off hours duties/on-call hours as necessary • Other duties as assigned. $14.00/HR
