FINANCIAL ANALYST - CONTRACT

Foxboro, MA

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and calculating the payment of commissions and incentives for independent sales representatives and showroom employees. In addition, the Financial Analyst will provide reporting and analysis of commission and labor data as well as complete monthly sales and use tax filings and various quarterly and annual business tax filings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a business or finance environment is needed. Must be analytical, detail-oriented, and possess good communications skills while also having the ability to work independently and be able to effectively prioritize work. An intermediate working knowledge level of Microsoft Excel is required. Essential Job Functions • Manage the monthly payment of commissions for showroom sales employees, independent sales representatives, and agent showrooms. • Manage the monthly payment of incentives for hourly showroom employees. • Maintain the system commission rate tables. • Provide monthly commission and incentive reports to the various sales organizations. • Assist the field and sales management with the use of the site where the reports are accessed. • Research and answer commission and related inquiries from the field, sales management, and employees. • Provide monthly trend reporting on commissions and labor to management, including the identification of variations in trends and any inconsistencies with detailed explanations • Provide cost center expense reporting and analysis to assigned Vice Presidents. • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting of labor and cost center expenses. • Create and run IQ and AS400 Queries to assist with the commission calculation, analysis and reporting. • Work with sales management on Policy and Procedure development and adherence. • Perform periodic audits of the commission system set up to ensure compliance with company policies. • Complete monthly sales and use tax filings and various quarterly and annual business tax/license filings. • Process and issue daily cash position reporting to upper management. • Provide back up for the payroll specialist by processing a bi-weekly payroll for 400 employees in multiple states and Canada and by processing manual payroll checks when needed. • Develop an understanding of the Kronos time and attendance system and Ceridian HR/Payroll and assist with maintenance of these systems. • Perform other duties as assigned. $25.00-$30.00 hr
