Facilities Maintenance Manager

Cambridge, MA

My Client a large DOD Research and Development Hi tech manufacturing operation is in need of a Facilities Professional to plan, organize and supervise the repair and alteration of buildings, equipment and utility systems . The position will assign and evaluate the work of personnel conducting mechanical and construction maintenance activities, read and interpret building plans, blueprints and specifications and ensure conformance with building and safety codes, regulations and requirements. The candidate will communicate with vendors, contractors, engineers and state and county inspectors regarding maintenance operations and activities, assist in determining needed equipment, materials and supplies . The position requires a minimum of a BS degree in Management or Engineering and ten years experience managing Facilities and Supervising trades people along with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and activities. Salary 120K
